Sold for parts/repair. Does not run. Here's the long story short. The crankshaft pulley fell off this one time. I did the repair. It fell off again. I did some research, realized my mistakes, did the repair again. It fell off again. I did some research, realized my mistakes, and decided to do a proper repair attempt ONE LAST TIME, do it RIGHT, and if it doesn't work then I give up. Bought Haynes and Chilton manuals, decided that doing it right meant I might as well do timing belt and water pump at same time, and started in. Then I rounded off a nut on the engine mount. Some parts have been removed (pulley, valve cover, dipstick, alternator...) but I have them and the car is basically complete. Even has the original jack and spare donut. Pretty clean, decent miles. Engine was running well, might need a clutch soon. Would make a decent fixer upper, or a great parts car. My theory is that someone did a timing belt and didn't torque down the crankshaft pulley bolt tight enough. Best case scenario, deal with the rounded nut or work around it slap the new (aftermarket producer) pulley on there (included in sale), clean up the injectors, and off you go. Worst case is it gets parted out or scrapped because it needs a new crankshaft. Either way, the auction starts at a penny, so... If you're the kind of person who picks up cars cheap and turns them into money or can do the repair then this is perfect for you. Fine print I guess would be cash or paypal only, local pickup only (SE Minneapolis) and you'll need a towtruck, and I took off the plates. Other common sense stuff like look at the pictures, ask questions, don't play any title games and take care of it right away... Thanks for looking. Good luck.
