Vehicle Detail
You are looking at a 1976 Pontiac Bonneville Brougham with just over 67,000 original miles on it. The good: No rust, original paint(has been touched up here and there-mostly chips),original vinyl top with no rust underneath, trunk is like new, interior is also like new, engine bay is clean-all fluids have been done and is a pleasure to drive. No cracks in dash, perfect seats, headliner and carpet, door panels. Like new also. Brand new whitewall tires(all 4) with the paperwork in the glove box. The bad: Not much. It needs a new front bumper from the original owners backing out and hitting the garage. It bent the bumper but wiped out the entire garage door-no damage to the car besides the bumper. The bumper can be sourced. They are out there. It needs a few little odds and ends to nearly perfect. One cigarette lighter,a nice set of GM floor mats, the "jack instructions" decal for the trunk and I would put in new door lock knobs. Just the chrome knobs-nothing else. I would also get an owners manual. All of this little stuff is available right here through EBay and won't cost a fortune. All power options works great. The AC does not work but is all there. Someone,at one time, added a few gauges to the main instrument cluster. If you wanted to remove them-I would suggest finding a nice cluster but it is not needed. The car was written up by Mr. Tom Klockau on Jackbaruth, com on The Riverside Green. There is an in depth article about it-yes,this car has been published. This is a turn key car you can drive anywhere. The interior still has a new car smell-as it was garaged it's entire life. If you win the auction, you are not going to disappointed. It is a very nice car and with a little TLC-will be nearly flawless. Enjoy and happy bidding. The deposit is non-refundable.
