Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE A very original 1965 CB160 Sloper. Very clean, starts and runs very well. I race and restore old Hondas. This project was a restoration using as many of the original parts and OEM items as possible. The engine and frame are original to the bike, if you know old Honda’s the frame and engine numbers never match. In this case they are within 60 of each other. The frame and swingarm has been cleaned and painted. Other small parts have had the rust removed and were painted or plated. Less than 100 miles on rebuilt engine with using new pistons, rings & wristpins. The cylinders were professionally bored and honed to match the pistons. New timing chain, valves, valve springs, and seals. All gaskets and oil seals replaced. The bottom end and transmission was inspected, shifter forks replaced. New tubes, tires and drive chain. New front brake, throttle and clutch cables. Overhauled front forks, new seals and oil. Carbs have been rebuilt, petcock rebuilt. New points, condenser. Fuel tank has small dents in rear, see pics. Original parts were cleaned and painted. Original headers and silencers are still in very good condition. Shorai LFX14A2-BS12 battery. Tank badges are original. The chrome is in great condition for its age. The seat is in excellent condition. Overall this is a very nice bike as is, or could be easily taken to the next level. The 1965 CB 160’s are becoming very hard to find in this condition. Don’t let this one get away! I would be very happy to answer any questions or take additional pictures.
