2001 Mercedes-Benz ML320. Black with tan interior. One-owner. Full service records available. Was in excellent driving condition until this week when engine suddenly began squeaking and slapping near arrival at home. Engine did NOT seize. Engine cranks and starts (tested very shortly). Has not been driven since. I suspect a spun engine bearing, but cannot be fully sure, and cannot predict what repairs will be required to engine (anything from bearing and rod replacement to engine replacement). Kenwood touchscreen DVD stereo with rear seat headrest monitors and backup cameria. Bose sound system. Has had several parts recently replaced with new parts (both catalytic converters, front shocks & rear struts, MAF sensor, crankshaft position sensor, front caliper rebuild, AAM), and multiple repairs with OEM parts in last 2-4 years. Full service records available. Michelin tires with 20K miles on them. Known issues:- fuel gauge faulty (needs new sending unit, which is part of fuel pump)- no light flashing confirmation when locking vehicle- no siren sound when alarm system triggered - very slow oil seep from engine oil sensor- passenger side mirror is blue tinted (replacement), driver side mirror clear (original)- driver seat side and front trim loose- fuse panel cover in passenger foot well has broken bottom retaining clip (but panel stays in place without rattling) Local pickup only as car is not presently driveable.
