A beautiful loaded deep blue 1971 FORD LTD Convertible in very good condition for sale with all the bells and whistles. The convertible encompasses highly desired factory options such as a power convertible top, very cold air conditioning, power windows, power steering, and power disc brakes in the front. Same owner for the past 18 years. The LTD starts, runs and drives flawlessly as it is a wonderful cruiser and a parade favorite. The LTD currently has 114,000 miles. The suspension and steering was meticulously restored shortly after purchasing the vehicle at 95,000 miles. At the same time, the sagging and loose doors were repinned to ensure proper body alignment. The LTD's automatic transmission was rebuilt and upgraded to add 2 more clutches to the original 3 clutches 2 years ago at 113,000 miles. The car's ignition was upgraded from points style to electronic to ensure a stable fire ordered to the 400 CID V-8 engine. The tires were recently replaced with less than 1,000 miles of wear. The radiator and fan have been replaced and have about 10k miles on them. The convertible also has the original jack in the trunk. A front seat cover and a whole car cover are both included. The car is definitely road worthy and ready for a cross country road trip. There are some signs of wear on the car which includes a small 3" rip in front seat were the stitching became loose, a rip on the drivers side convertible top about the size of a quarter and some rust on the drivers side lower quarter panel in front a of the tire.
