Vehicle Detail

I purchased this 1967 Ford Mustang convertible 12 years ago. It has been garaged and kept under cover on the days I don't drive it. It is a 51 year old vehicle. It is in really good shape, but it is not a show car. It drives really well. I don't have much history from previous ownership's. I do have a clear title on it. This 1967 Mustang convertible was originally white, but repainted by the previous owners. I ran the VIN thru the Marti Ford Mustang database:472,209 1967 Mustangs were built,44,821 were Convertibles,10,784 came with the 200-1V engine,3,834 had 3-speed manual transmission,321 were painted Wimbledon White, and this was 1 of 6 that had Aqua Decor bucket seatsI just had a new master cylinder installed and the drum brakes work great. As the rear differential leak was fixed last month, I had a new drive shaft with u-joints made & installed. Over the past 2-3 years, I have replaced the battery, starter, ignition coil, starter relay and distributor. The power top works fine and the convertible top is in decent condition (1-2 very small pin sized holes). An after-market radio was installed with 2 kick panel speakers.I am not aware of any rust. Floor panels were replaced by previous owners. Verified when I put new carpet in a few years back. There are no dents, but a few door dings and scratches. As shared above, I try to keep up with the maintenance. However, there are a few things that are far from perfect or do not work on the car: has some small fluid leaks (I put a rug on the garage floor under the engine)side mirrors are loosegas gauge does not workin-dash clock does not workparking brake does not work (missing the pulley)the paint looks good from a distance, but has chips and spider cracksa few broken or slightly dented trim piecesloose connection in the left rear brake light (works 90% of the time)This is NOT a numbers matching car. I believe the engine was replaced with "like" engine by previous owners. I had to buy a different year thermostat as the diameter was different and it fit a 1959-1962 inline 6Please note that this car does not have power steering, power brakes, power windows or air-conditioning. Every time I drive this car, people always seem to notice and/or share their Mustang story. If you have any questions then please contact me and I will try to respond promptly.
