Vehicle Detail
2001 BMW R1200C Montana Edition2001 BMW R1200C - we believe she is the Montana Edition but not 100% sure as we are not BMW experts. We purchased this bike recently from an estate with only 14,470 original miles. We replaced the front and rear brake lines with Galfer high performance stainless steel braided line kits made specifically for the R1200C (the original lines were a bit old and spongy feeling) - she stops on a dime now. The bike runs excellent and goes down the road smoothly. We changed the engine oil/filter along with the rear diferential fluid. She had been garaged her entire life and is in excellent overall condition for an 18 year old motorcycle. The leather cover on the lockable saddle bags have a couple scratches but they are still in nice shape. Chrome is not pitted, tins are not dented and original paint is still excellent. Comes with the original owner’s manuals & tool kit, BMW service manual on CD and what looks to be the factory BMW battery charger wire (just needs a Battery Tender type charger) - see photos. The bike has factory heated grips, ABS brakes, alloy mag wheels and hologen driving lights (with a switch). She is ready for the road - we are hoping to get her in to the hands of someone who really appreciates these BMW R1200C’s! Here is a link to the video of the bike being fired-up and running: https://youtu.be/CXqN0w2ita0 Feel free to contact us if you have any questions or comments. We do have a clean Florida title in hand. Thanks for looking and good luck on this auction! Please note that we are a shop (Bare Bone Rides of Merritt Island, FL) and if you are a Florida resident, we will have to process the title paperwork and collect 7% sales tax on the final auction price.
