RELISTING DUE TO NO SALE!!! NOW AT NO RESERVE!!!Here we have a 1956 MGA 1500 dual British S/U side draft carbs. This was my Father-In-Law's toy and was given to me when he passed away. He bought it in the late 90's and was a recent resto then. It was certainly not perfect when he got it. The paint is nice but has a lot of orange peel. The interior is nice but the seats are torn at the seams. It runs MINT!! Starts right up and idols. He was sick for a while so there are problems that I do not have the time or know how to fix. The brakes are hanging up and it is having trouble going in and out of gear. I think the problem is the common Brake/Clutch master cylinder. All the electrical works but he lost the ignition key so I've had to hot wire it. Battery is good and its been converted to 12V. It sat for so long with gas in the tank it turned to varnish so I've drained the tank and ran a line directly from the fuel pump to a jerry can so its gonna need a new tank. It has NO ROT and everything is super solid. The top is mint and I have the torneau cover as well. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact me.
