This auction is for a very good running virtually rust free 1969 Classic Mini. This Is an Australian Mini, I believe it spent time in New Zealand , because the radiator tag is from a shop in New Plymouth, New Zealand. I am not a Mini expert , but had another Mini that I drove for a few years. This one has a 998 cc motor that runs very well and doesn’t smoke at all. The motor starts first try and the transmission and brakes are good. This Mini is fitted coil springs from Mini Mania. The spring are the blue springs they sell for a good ride in cars with 10 inch wheels not the competition springs. The car has a nice set of Mini lites. The interior is clean and nice, the paint looks to be the second paint jobs and looks decent but is faded in places and has some scratches. The floor pans are just about perfect and the car has very little rust anywhere. The previous owner stopped driving it because he moved to a house in the country with a long rough dirt road and didn’t want to drive it down that.so it sat unused a couple years. I have the California title and certificate of none operation, so there are no back fees owed. The car has a nice straight body and no mechanical issues. The speedometer is in KPH. I have a stereo for it, but it’s not in the car. The car drives very nice. I can store it for a few weeks until pick up and will assist the buyers shipper.
