This is a great little solid car, but i have too may toys again! It runs like a champ, and while it needs to be stripped & painted (a little rust - see pics), it will be worth close to $33,000 restored. Low retail value is $11,100 The car belonged to a gentleman who passed away 15 years ago. After buying it 4 months ago, I replaced the plug wires and plugs, new fuel pump and filter, all new fuel injectors and fuel line, removed and replaced the window tint with high quality Carbon tint, four brand new Hankook optimo H724 tires, sandblasted and powder coated the air intake, new windshield wipers and fluid tank w/ pump (was missing) switched to a K&N air filter, added a constant on Aux fan), and converted the car to Pertronix electronic ignition, changed the oil, added freon (ice cold air!) and it fired right up on. Runs very, very strong. Blaupunkt Cancun stereo w/ Cassette (for you 80's people like me!). Known Issues: - Whoever painted the car last should be shot! While it looks great standing near it, closer inspection shows how poor a job they did. Some rust spots, poor blending, and they painted the car without taking the hard top off. Geez!- Soft Top cloth will need to be replaced- Turn signal bulbs and one headlight inop (new turn signal flasher in trunk)- Cruise control switch needs replacing (replacement in trunk)- Windshield washer pump works with direct power, but not with wand inside car (suspect a fuse or relay)- Odometer seems to work about 50% of the time. Need to clean or adjust cable - easy fix.- Car runs slightly warm (typical R107 known issue), water pump is good, fan clutch good, coolant drained and flushed. Has never overheated.
