For sale by 2nd owner (inherited from original owner) <> 2002 NISSAN SENTRA GXE w/ 1.8L ENGINE <> Actual Mileage 103,492 (as of AUG 03, 2018) <> ENGINE INFO: Smooth and strong running. Revs and excellerates effortlessly and quietly (no knocks or unusual noises). Engine oil and oil filter changed methodically every 3-5K since new. <> REPLACED PARTS (past 5-7yrs) : Radiator - alternator - ignition coil packs - fan/drive belt - leaky head gasket - passenger door and mirror - tires. Recent front end alignment - handles and corners nicely. <> TRANSMISSION: Shifts smoothly and effortlessly - no unwanted noises or slippage. <> INTERIOR: Seats and bench in better than average condition - no major tears, stains, holes, or wear (see photos). Mats and carpets are stained and discolored with no major rips or tears. Headliner is becoming slightly unglued. Power windows, door locks, and mirrors in good working order. A/C recently charged - no major leaks - blows cold. Kenwood stereo w/Bluetooth and CD player works great but speakers are old and in need of replacement. <> EXTERIOR: Paint completely faded. Other than the rear passenger side door *(see note), there are only a few very minor dings and scratches. All turn signal lamps intact - including grill and headlamps. Tires are ok and have a few miles left in them. *(NOTE: Damage to passenger side doors occurred at low speed in a residential area when another vehicle backed into it while exiting their driveway.) <> REGISTRATION / TITLE: Clean title / pink slip in hand - registration expires this month - have current PNO (planned non operation) with DMV in order to sell in California "AS IS OR FOR PARTS ONLY" making "BUYER RESPONSIBLE for SMOG CERTICATION." Vehicle is otherwise perfectly drivable (I believe for many years and miles to come), in states - which actually is almost all - that don't have overly strict smog regulations. <> MAIN NEGATIVE ISSUE and CAUSE: "CHECK ENGINE" lamp came on several months ago - diagnosed as engine code "P0420" or "CATALYST SYSTEM EFFICIENCY BELOW THRESHOLD" - which I am told means the catalytic converters need replacement which can be costly in CA. and the reason I'm selling. I currently have DMV paperwork to allow legal "one day operation" in order to facilitate transfer and/or transport. <> SHIPPING: Free local pick up or will gladly work with any transport company the buyer retains. <> PAYMENT: A $200 non-returnable deposit cleared through PayPal is expected within 24hrs of the closed winning bid and the balance due in cash at the time of buyer taking possession.
