***************** NO RESERVE *********** NO RESERVE **************************FOR SALE is a DINAN modified, Supercharged 1997 BMW 540. CLEAN Carfax! This 3 owner car only has 50,660 miles on it with ONLY about 18K miles on the NEW Engine, Transmission and Diff set up. This car was professionally built by Leo Franchi at Midwest Motorsports, IL and JP at Fall Line Auto, IL. Always maintained with oil changes etc. The car is VERY well built! No Expense spared. I have a lot of the original receipts. If you could find a low mile car like this one then pay to have all the work done like this car, it would run in excess of $50K! You can pick this car up and drive it back to anywhere in the U.S. with no issues. The previous owner sent me over 150 pictures of the build. I am trying to find where my wife saved them.After I picked the car up from the previous owner, my 12 year BMW Master Tech mechanic, took off into bringing the car up to perfect running condition. Wheels were painted GM gloss black and all NEW tires installed. EVERY fluid was changed, oil & filter has been done twice already. Front bumper cover was pulled to check all the wiring and S/C install. The car had the original A/C compressor still so a NEW BMW compressor was installed and the system was charged. A New MAF meter was installed & the Washable filter was cleaned. NO OIL WAS PUT BACK on the filter. The Methanol Injection was moved and hidden out of view. We installed all NEW spark plugs and all NEW ignition coils. I had the race shop P.A.D. install functional hood vents due to the S/C heat. The car does have High-flow Catalytic Convertors and 4 O2 sensors but I am sure it will NOT meet CA emissions.The car has NO "CEL" or "service engine soon" lights. Car was built to run pump fuel. I use 91 or 93 octane.The car leaks NO fluids and could be used as a Daily driver if that is your plan. Send me your number and I can text you a video of a start up with a walk around and of the engine running. The car does have an AirBag light on but it is due to the recall. I had planned to put the smaller 3 spoke sport wheel on the car which would cure the light. Or a BMW dealership can install the recalled airbag if you prefer the 4 spoke steering wheel.I AM ONLY SELLING DUE TO LIFE CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND MY CONTROL! I never planned to sell this car. I HAVE found the flash drive with all the build pictures!! I will try to post a few with the ad.2.) Yes the car was Dyno'ed. Just straight out of the box with a basic tune and the Large Blower pulley (3.5 PSI), the car put 386 HP down to the rear wheels. Since then the car has been properly tuned, smaller S/C pulley (5.0 PSI) installed and the Methanol injection installed.
