Vehicle Detail

Bridgestone 60 sport ( 1964 I think ).I bought this little bike recently as a non-runner. I set the points, cleaned the carb and she fired right up!Compression was low, so I bought an OEM cylinder, piston and rings and she runs well. One of the barrel fins has a piece chipped off, which isn't really noticeable, but it is new old stock with invoices.Paint is in great condition for age, with no rust.Brakes work, as do the lights.I want to sell it to an enthusiast who will take it to the next level.I have a folder with parts lists, and I can give you a link to the online pdf service manual. To be classed as 'excellent' it will need:A new seat cover, they are actually available for less than $50 on Ebay.Tires.New battery, although it runs fine without and lights work, the battery acts as a voltage damper and controls fluctuation which can cause bulbs to blow. I think it operates the horn too, as that isn't functioning.I have the title, which was signed quite a while ago but no buyer details entered. The next guy didn't get around to taking it to the DMV. I have a bill of sale from the gentleman that I bought it from.Local pickup only, but I am quite willing to load it onto a truck of your choice if you organize the delivery. I will by no means accept responsibility for any damage incurred in transit.I am told that 'Uship' offer very good quotes all over the US for a couple of hundred dollars. Here is a video of it running, it's a bit amateur. There's a lot of smoke because I have a very high (16:1 approx) ratio of oil to to gas because the new parts need to be 'run in'. This also causes the plug to be oily. Thanks for watching folks!Video:https://youtu.be/suTwlg82dBw As an added point of interest, they made a 50cc version and the parts are interchangeable and available. I would estimate that you could buy all of the parts to convert to 50cc for around $200 from CPC Parts Corporation. In Colorado at least, this would mean that you could ride it unplated and without a motorcycle license. A barrel, piston, rings and a cylinder head would do it. All of the part numbers are in the folder that I will supply with.On Aug-04-18 at 15:23:32 PDT, seller added the following information: To be clear, I have said that the paint is in excellent condition for it's age, which is my opinion. There are some chips of paint missing on the tank and some tiny dents here and there from wear.I am happy for the buyer to come and check it over in person after the auction, which I recommend. It is also fine to send a truck to pick it up unseen, but I will not be responsible for any returns if collected unseen.I would like cash in person or bank transfer if not in person please. Not Paypal because of the fees please. Thanks!
