This is my oldest son’s car and has been in the family for more than 11 years. He is currently in the US Army and asked me to sell it on his behalf. The car is a beast, and it’s got the marks to prove it. Lots of stuff works great; some stuff works okay, and some items need much work. To fix it to the factory standard is expensive, but if you're looking to drive it, this car can go another 50k to 75k miles. For the right person (read: someone who wants to modify the vehicle) and needs a great inexpensive car to start with, this is the perfect car. The vehicle drives, and can traverse and go through almost anything! If you’ve never driven these before, they are one of the most capable off-roading vehicles ever made. Heavy and very safe. Very little rust, it was a southern car for the majority of the time we've owned it. The car has and will pass and inspection He is looking to sell ASAP and use the proceeds as a small down payment on his next car upon his return from active duty. I am going to list a couple of examples of the vehicles most obvious issues. Whats important to note is that the engine pulls strong, the transmission is reliable and the car is over 20 years old. - Belts or water pump (squeaking noise) -- No leaking antifreeze- Cigarette lighter does not work (no phone charging)- Front power motors do not move the front seats- Worn seats- Muffler rattles- Upper engine gasket leaks oil- Brakes and rotors will need to be replaced at some point- Dent in the front lt. fender- AC recharge required soon- The vehicle has some surface rust on the undercarriage Please don't bid on this car if you can't afford to make the necessary repairs or modifications to enjoy this vehicle's full potential. I would not make this car my daily driver without expecting to invest some money. That said - we love this rig and were sad to see it go.
