Up for sale is my very rare 1995 Mercedes-Benz E320 Cabriolet. These are highly sought after and collected vehicles. If you are looking at this car you undoubtedly know what I mean. This example is Imperial Red with Beige leather interior. This is one of the last examples brought in the US with a build date of 01/96. The car runs and drives great. It is powered by the M104 3.2L 6 cylinder with 4 speed automatic transmission. The air blows cold, and the heat blows hot. The heated seats work great as do the power windows and locks. The paint on the car is very shiny and looks great. It has had some paint work in the past but you would not know it unless you were looking for it. The interior clean and in great shape. The front leather does show signs of wear with some cracking noticed. The odometer currently shows 120k miles but the cluster was replaced a few years ago and the actual mileage is around 140k miles. The hydraulic convertible top does not work. There are 1 or more of the cylinders that are leaking. The top itself will also need to be replaced at some point in the future as the top is starting to show quite a bit of wear. It does not leak but I am sure the new owner will want to replace it. I had planned to send the cylinders out for rebuild which is about $1200 or so for the complete set. A new canvas for the top is not expense either and can be replaced DIY. The low oil light stays on at all times. It is not low on oil and does not leak or burn any oil. This is a common problem with these cars and the sensor in the oil pan will need to be replaced. The car is run with Mobil 1 0W40 synthetic. This is a very nice example of a rare care. I had intended in fixing the top and keeping the car for many years and the value of these is going up. The reality is that i have too many other cars and it will probably be a long time before I can get to this one. It is over 20 years old and is not perfect.
