Vehicle Detail
This is a 1995 Toyota Tacoma Xtracab 4x4 pickup. It has the 2.7 four cylinder engine with the four-speed automatic transmission. It has power steering and brakes. It is an A/C optioned truck but the system has no freon and I have never had it fixed. It has the HI and LO range for the four wheel drive which is controlled by a lever beside the floor shifter. The differential is the automatic-disconnecting type, so there are no hubs to turn by hand. It has the flip-down seats in the back and a factory liner in the bed. Mechanically, the truck is very sound. The four-wheel drive system, transmission, and engine have no issues. Motor uses very little oil and does not smoke. This truck has never let me down in the 5 years I have owned it. The body has rust holes in the rocker panels and a rust hole in each lower corner of the tailgate. The rear bumper is also rotted out. There are some dents in the driver's fender and typical scuffs and smaller dents consistent with its age. The truck's biggest problem is THE FRAME IS TOO RUSTED TO PASS INSPECTION. It is repairable, but I do not want to put that kind of money into it. It will also need a broken bolt replaced that holds in the lower oxygen sensor. Some parts I have replaced include most recently a new windshield, radiator, thermostat, and upper and lower hoses and belts. Other parts are a power steering rack, leaf springs, muffler/tailpipe, and mass air flow sensor. I have all service records for the last 40,000 miles. This truck runs and drives as it is, but pickup is the buyer's responsibility. It could be fixed to pass inspection, used as a farm vehicle, or a donor for another Tacoma. I will NOT part out this truck, it will be sold whole. If you would like more photos or info, please don't hesitate to ask. Personal inspections are also welcome. All winning bids are final, not a license to inspect after the auction is over. I also have truck listed locally, so I may end auction if there are no bids. I will NOT end this auction if there is a bid on it. Thank you.
