Vehicle Detail

Up for auction, with a .99c start and no reserve, is a very nice ‘69 Camaro. Car has a 350 and 4 speed. I have owned the car for 17 years, it’s always been garage kept and rarely driven (once or twice a year) I start it every few months to keep everything moving. It runs and drives beautifully. This car seems to be in somewhat of a rare condition- it’s not a perfectly restored $50k car (although if you want to bid that, you are certainly welcome to!), nor is it a rusted out shell. This car can be driven today and will turn heads, and you can slowly enhance its condition as funds allow while enjoying it; or if you want the start of a restoration project, this car will save you tons of time versus the rusted junk out there. Car starts and runs very well, the paint could use some work (see pics) The body is in decent condition, does have the minor flaws of a car that turns 50 years old next year. Has some surface rust underneath, but none of it is more than just surface rust. The floor pans are solid. Everything seems to work, except: the Amp meter doesn’t work, and the trunk doesn’t latch solidly, it can be pulled open with moderate force. Both minor issues really. I encourage you to come check it out if possible, it’s an hour West of Denver. Feel free to contact me with any questions or if you want specific pictures. $1,000 deposit immediately after auction close. On Jul-11-18 at 21:39:44 PDT, seller added the following information: I was asked to look at the floor of the trunk and there is some old rust pitting I had not noticed before. The floor still feels very solid. I can send pictures of the trunk pan if you request. Trying to figure out how to delete and add a picture of this in my listing. On Jul-13-18 at 06:07:05 PDT, seller added the following information: Update- I was asked how much body filler the car had. I have never done any body work to the car. Using the magnet method every 4-6” over the vertical surfaces of the car, the only place the magnet did not give me a strong, consistent grip was on the passenger side door in the middle area. A spot about 4” x 6” still had metal the magnet would hold onto, but it wasn’t as strong as the rest of the car. I can send pics of this spot if anyone wants it. On Jul-15-18 at 16:35:05 PDT, seller added the following information: Update- I spent some time underneath the car today to take pictures for bidders, I can’t add any more to this listing , so please ask if you want them. The lowdown is, the floor, trunk area and inner fender areas are all in good shape in my very unprofessional opinion. I found one area on the driver’s side where there is severe rot, it’s about a 6” area and you can actually see it in pic 20. It had a wood patch put on the inside so it felt solid to me (that’s the red thing you see in the pic) This seems to be the only place where there is more than just minor surface rust spots. Everything else feels solid and free from any rot. I also noticed the suspension bushings are dry rotted. I also forgot to add that the car has a minor water leak from the windshield area. Please keep the questions coming! I don’t want the buyer to have any surprisesOn Jul-17-18 at 09:07:22 PDT, seller added the following information: Update- knowledgeable bidders have asked about a few other areas- under the doors, shock towers in the trunk and around the windshield and back window. After checking, under the drivers door does also seem to have some rot. The passenger has some rust, but it seems solid still. The shock towers have a number of bugger welds around them, I’m not sure if this is factory or not. Near the passenger shock tower there is a 1”X2” hope that has a wire running through it. Not sure if this is normal or not, but it doesn’t appear to be rust caused as the steel around it is thick. Around the windshield and rear window I don’t see any rust. Pics are available for these areas, just ask
