This is a No Reserve Auction. Up for auction is a 2001 Ford F250 Super Duty 4X4 with a V10 engine. This truck was purchased new by a very good friend. My friend passed away almost 2 years ago and the truck sat since then. This truck is completely box stock and has not been altered in any way. It is a long bed. I purchased the truck with the intention of pulling a large RV trailer behind it but the plan has changed and I no longer need the truck. I dropped the gas tank and removed the old gas, cleaned the tank and replaced the fuel pump and filter. The engine started right up and runs great and I've driven it about 300 miles. The engine does not leak anything, smoke or make any weird sounds. It has an automatic transmission with overdrive that shifts as it should. Everything on the truck works as it should except the remote control mirrors. The mirrors try to move but are stuck. New mirrors run around $90 a set on ebay. The interior is in good condition with only 1 small split on the driver's seat that can be seen in the pictures. All the gauges, electronics and stereo work as they should. The AC works well. The stereo has both a cassette player and a cd player. I have replaced the oil, oil filter, air filter, fuel filter and fuel pump. The tires are good with about half the tread left on them. The four wheel drive works as it should and is engaged by turning a knob on the dashboard. The body does have hail damage and some damage on the passenger side front fender and the paint's clear coat in peeling. I have a new front fender for the truck and it will go with the truck. This truck runs and drives great. My friend bought this truck to pull a giant RV/horse trailer combination and he never had a complaint. I thought about keeping it as a powerful 4 wheeler or if I ever needed to pull a building down the road but just don't have the room to store it. The starting bid is the amount I have in the truck right now, $4,600. Shipping is up to the buyer but I will help any way I can. If a buyer wants to fly into DFW and drive it home, I will pick them up at the airport, train station or bus station. For $1.00 a mile I will drive it to their location.
