Up for sale is a one-owner, 1968 Mercury Cougar. Garage-kept for over 30 years. This model has bench seats in the front, which was rare for this year Cougar. While there is no visible rust, there is some scaling along the rear passenger wheelbase. I had our local Mercury dealership inspect this vehicle, and while they could not grade it as "Show" quality, they did say that it was most certainly drive-able, and with some renovation, could be a show vehicle. While it has never been in an accident, it has been repainted over the years. If one were to try and make it "Show" quality, it would benefit from a new coat. The radio antenna is broken, and would need replaced. The front dashboard, near the center speaker, is buckling and cracking. Winner is responsible for picking up the vehicle at the close of the sale. Cost does not include any fees associated with the transport of the vehicle.
