I found this little Roadster two years ago in a yard sale and wanted to restore it. I purchased a new gas tank ($500) and had it powder coated ($90). I cleaned the carbs, added fresh gas and it fired right up. No bad noises, no smoke, just nice and smooth running.Unfortunately I did not get a chance to do any more work to it and changes in my life situation make a sale necessary. The little car is very straight and has only little rust, mostly confined in the area in front of the rear wheels. 1964 is the second year of MGBs and this pull handle, steel dash model is the most sought after. It does have the aluminum bonnet as well.This car can be on the road with only little work and makes someone a great little project that can be finished with little money. Most parts are available and the car is easy to work on.As with any vintage car, there is no warranties and the buyer is responsible for all shipping arrangements and cost.
