Up for sale is a 1968 Triumph Bonneville. I got this bike from a guy that was going to rebuild it but he got side tracked and lost interest. The bike does have new fork boot rubber, correct new front foot peg rubber and the foot pegs are very straight, new correct front and rear fuel tank mount rubber and hardware. The tank is in primer and is very nice with no dents, tank badges are very nice also. The front fender is in very good condition with no dents, the rear has a small crack which is easily repaired. Both front and rear rims are in almost excellent condition. The seat and seat pan are very nice with no rips. The frame number is 120RDU83811, however the motor is number TR6C DU69846 which is the competition Triumph motor and much more valuable than a standard Bonneville motor. The headlight bucket is the 6” Lucas light. The air cleaner looks new also. Looks like it was upgraded to electronic ignition at some point and will need complete new wiring harness. The motor kicks over nicely with good compression, the trans shifts through the gears nice however the clutch is stuck. The oil tank does have some dents that do not show in the pics. This is a great bike to finish as is or return to stock.
