1980 Cutlass with the "legendary" Buick 3.8L V6. I've owned this car since 2007, I've come to the point where this one doesn't get any attention, so it's time to pass it on to someone else. It's had a few improvements made over the years: Chassis: 10-bolt 8.5" rear axle, 3.42 rear gear, powertrax locker rear sway bar fast ratio steering box aluminum hood 2.5" true dual exhaust Rear disc brakes (1980 El Dorado) Scarebird adapter plates Drilled and slot rotors front and rear Polyurethane body bushings Boxed lower rear control arms Adjustable upper rear control arms 1" drop springs (Eibach) Transmission:TH350 TCI shift kit B&M torque converter stall approx 1800-2000 RPM Engine: Over-bore .060 Flattop pistons (CR 9.4:1) Edelbrock performer cam kit (they claim 225 peak HP) 4.1L 4-barrel manifold Hedman headers Holley 0-8007 390CFM carburetorOn Jun-19-18 at 16:07:04 PDT, seller added the following information: Cam is Edelbrock 5487. It's no race car by any stretch of the imagination, but it's way better than a stock 3.8L. Think Olds 307 performance from a 231. Sounds good too. Check the video here: https://youtu.be/TUh94izgn6k I found my paperwork when I had the block work done, overbore was only .030, so there's a little more meat left for future work than previously indicated. Steering box has also been replaced with a rebuilt fast ratio box from an F-body. Brake master cylinder, proportioning valve, and booster are from an early 80's F-body. Both were installed new. Proportioning valve came from a salvage yard, when opened up, all looked good.
