This is a Gorgeous Vintage 2004 Midnight Blue Porsche Boxter Convertible. We are the second owners of this beautiful collector car. We had purchased the car from Birmingham Motors Exotic Car Dealer. Birmingham had acquired the vehicle from the original owner who was an older woman that had only put a little over 4,000 miles on it. The original owner garage kept it in pristine like new condition while she had owned it between 2004 up until our purchase in 2009. The purchase of this car was my husbands dream of owning a Porsche so we took our savings of just shy of $30,000 to purchase his dream in 2009! We have loved driving it and “babying” it until recent years where it was just safely, yet sadly kept in our garage out of just pure fear of driving on these wonderful pothole ridden Michigan roads. Our time of enjoyment of summer driving our Porsche with the top down had faded away because of the worry of damage from the horrible conditions of the roads, which in our minds outweighed putting the vehicle in harms way. We are truly sad to part with it but also feel it deserves a home and owner that can and does have a willingness to take it on the road to enjoy the beauty and amazing ride of this car! Now that I got to the story out of the way here is some tech and condition info. It has been Garage kept it’s entire life, it was maintained at the Porsche dealership when we were driving it(up until a few years ago and had not been driven only garage stored). The just shy of 14,000 miles we had added to the original 4,000 were created from local summer drives to a couple of turnpike trips to NJ visiting family. It has very low desirable mileage (under 18,000) for a collector and age of the car. The Car also comes equipped with wind deflector. And many numerous pluses like tiptronic transmission and a automatic spoiler that raises and lowers on its own once the proper speed is attained while driving. It also has the full power soft top roof with glass back window which makes it a breeze to open and close with the push of a button and no effort on your part! The glass back window also is a plus for ease of cleaning and not having to worry about loss of vision like some older cars would have with plastic windowed softtops. The vehicle has been kept in our garage and not driven for a couple of years and started up fine with a new battery. The car does have the Porsche “Tic” while idling which is a normal occurrence according to Porsche blogs and research. And it may also be from us just newly running it after so long. There is no smoke or any major/minor issues that we are aware of at all. The car is being sold as is.
