1985 Chevy Cavalier Type 10 convertible. We are the third owners, and have owned it for 11+ years. This is my wife's summer car. Only selling because she wants something newer with modern technology. The Cavalier has always been garaged during our ownership. Purchased with around 86,000 miles and now has around 94,400 miles. It has never been in an accident as far as I know. All of the panels appear to be original, and the body gaps and seams are very straight. It was repainted in the original red before we purchased it. Not sure when. Little to no rust. You don't see these cars anymore, especially in this condition. I have all of the original paperwork, window sticker, 2 sets of keys, and the original parade boot. Registered as an antique in PA. That means no annual registration, no annual inspections or emissions if you live in PA. Insurance costs me less than $100 per year with full coverage and full tort with zero deductible. So it's your perfect entry level classic / antique car. It's also AACA eligible. I show it at Carlisle every year. If I don't sell it here, it will be in the Chevy Nationals in the Carlisle showfield for sale in June. I will try to list as accurately as possible. The Cavalier starts, runs, drives and stops perfectly. You can drive it as is, or do the last few things to make it perfect. It gets lots of attention. I have a few extra parts that will go with this car, including a passenger seat which is not ripped. Just haven't had time to swap it out yet. As far as I know, everything works (including all power accessories) except for the items listed below. The only bad things: There is a rip in each front seat. Does not affect function. Convertible top is not perfect but does NOT leak. Has a few spots which were fixed with duct tape as shown in pics. Once again, does not leak. Top has been up 3 times in the 11 years we have owned it. Has a small oil leak. It's 33 years old so what do you expect. Haven't had time to look at it yet. It drips a few drops in the garage. AC does not work. All of the components are there and work, but it needs new O-rings. I did recharge it, and the refrigerant leaked out. Who needs AC with a convertible?
