He never used it off road and felt it was time to hang up motorcycle riding and was very happy it would be going into a museum. Cosmetically the bike is a 9.8+ with a little patina. Excellent condition for a 44 year old ICON in the Motor Cycle World.I've posted as many HD pictures as ebay permits. If you're a serious buyer and need pictures of something else - you can ask. It has been mothballed & stored in my museum over last 15+ years. This Motorcycle is titled in Oregon. I have acquired Oregon SPECIAL INTEREST PLATES which are permanent and never have to be renewed. It the Motorcycle is sold in Oregon the plates go with the bike. If sold outside of Oregon I will keep the plates and transfer them to one of my other motorcycles. It has been recently un-mothballed in a loving fashion by my master mechanic. The fuel system flushed with non-ethanol premium fuel. Installed a new battery along with a new battery tender hook-up. Changed the Trans oil. Drained and refilled the oil injection tank with fresh two stroke premix. Replaced the fork oil with 15W. After hardly any cranking it came to life. There are no fuel leaks. It idles perfectly with the choke off. It Revs & Restarts fine. If the plan of the new owner is to ride the bike - I'd recommend new tires. We haven’t driven it other than around my large parking lot due to their age. If it goes back into another collection the tires won’t matter. It the new owner wants to drive it on the street etc. he’ll get to pick the tires of his choice Here is a You-Tube Link you'll want to listen to of a walk around of the motorcycle AND starting and running unit. You might want to watch the video twice as there is a lot of valuable info and really note the condition of All the Plastic - Gas Tank - Exhaust System - engine cases etc. https://youtu.be/V-Iv9DNzA0g If you are not knowledgeable about this bike but are interested please take the time to educate yourself through Google or Wikipedia. Also you'll be able to obtain all the specs and pictures you want to your hearts content at these locations. I am selling this bike to someone who knows what it is already. Now, The reason I am selling is - that I am totally out of room and, I am SLOWLY moving my museum "Genre" over to Street legal liquid cooled two strokes - primarily ones that were never imported into the USA. I am selling this bike here - to hopefully to get people watching my other auctions coming up soon so, when I start listing the other 15 bikes I'll be selling out of the collection - they'll be in step with the excellent condition of ALL the bikes in my Museum. PLEASE do not ask me which motorcycles these will be- because I haven't decided yet. And, I want to make sure that they are placed well! If you mark me as a favorite seller - in your Ebay account - you will be notified every time I put up a new listing. I'll only be selling one at a time due to time constraints for my Master Mechanic to un-mothball each one and totally go through the bikes to vet them out mechanically for confirmation of proper operation for the new owners. Couple of other points I want to cover that I've ran into with the last several auctions - 1- If you're in the area and would like to see the bike in person let me know - early on. 2- If you wait to contact me about ANYTHING concerning this the purchase or the bidding of This Motorcycle - In THE ACUTION'S LAST 24 HOURS - you've most likely waited to long. Ask any of your questions early - come see it in person early. Don't expect me to turn my life upside down or change my person plans for those who wait until the last hours or minutes to want me to do something or answer questions. This is a 7 day auction. I do not sell NON-RUNNING motorcycles like so many people/shops on Ebay. My bikes can go straight into another Museum or, with a General Check Over Service can be driven to your hearts content. IMPORTANT - Please review The deposit and Payment terms before bidding If you have less then 10 ebay histories and/or less then a 100% Feedback - Please reach out to me before bidding - otherwise your bid can be cancelled out Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs& needed arrangements. The bike will not leave here until full payment has been received and verified by me. I will work with your shipper with respect to the bikes pick up at MY location. I recommend Federal Companies - Allied Van Lines. You're provided up to $15,000.00 of insurance coverage with a ZERO deductible. Plus - They will deliver to your door - Home or office. Call Mary for quotes to your location - 1-800-747-4100 Ext #2341 I will not handle/create any legal forms or documents for countries other then needed for the USA. That would be the job of your importer or shipper.
