Vehicle Detail

1997 Honda Valkyrie F6C ( GL1500C )Second owner, I purchased the bike from the original owner (Pike Co., GA - 50 miles south of Atlanta) in Aug 2016.Only 36,300 original miles - many more years of enjoyment remainingRare factory Purple and Pearl paint (only 401 Purple and Pearl were manufactured)VARY RARE European tank badging (F6C instead of "Valkyrie")ALWAYS garaged - both owners (you can definitely tell)Reluctant sale Engine UpgradesF6C Flat 6 1520cc 6 carb Boxer motor with a 7 degree advance timing wheel100+ HP/ 100+ lb ft torque at the rear wheel via shaft drive3 second 0-60 on a 900lb cruiserCobra 6 into 6 exhaustK&N Air FilterStainless engine armorElectrical Upgrades VTX HeadlightLight Bar w halogen driving lightsMotobatt AGM (Advanced Glass Matt) battery100W MP3 Stereo amp (you supply the phone or MP3 player)Rear turn signal conversion (rear running lights for extra rear visibility)Rear brake light modulatorUltra Violet LED kitFrame/Chassis UpgradesNEW Dunlop front & rear tires (less than 100 miles)Memphis Shades Smoked Quick Detach WindshieldMustang Saddle and passenger seat (very comfortable)Harley Backrest (to match the saddle)Pullback risersRiver Road XL saddlebags modified to be quick detach.Custom-made US "Silver Dollar" custom conchos (on saddlebags)Leather "T" bag set (attached to windshield)Powdercoated wheels (silver)Chrome luggage rackRattlebars Kick Shifter and peg lowering kit (1" down 1" forward)Kuryakin Floorboards, pilot pegs, and gripsRear passenger FloorboardsChrome Additions front fork coverscaliper coversfront tree coverswitch coversclutch/brake reservoir covers rear brake reservoir cover Kuryakin mirrorsfork nut coverradiator covers(stainless steel top)intake tube coversshock bracket coverschrome rear shocks (Progressive Suspension) swingarm coversdriveshaft covertail light coverturn signal visorsfender tipscam end covers Please note - this is NOT a "first bike" and is about 8 1/2 feet long and 3 1/2 feet wide. You are buying 900 pounds of screaming F6C assault bike. This bike has a huge "curb appeal" and matching engine performance/exhaust sound to delight. This bike is a real looker. This bike is only broken-in and GL1500's can easily run for over 200,000 miles! The upgrades and chrome additions alone would cost more than the asking price for this bike. Forced sale. Will add more photos to the listing (cloudy day on my first try)Thank you for looking. Good luck on your search. On May-27-18 at 15:55:14 PDT, seller added the following information: Loaded (17) more photosPhotos 1-5 on a partly cloudy dayPhoto 6 & 7 illustrate paint color between partly cloudy & full sunlight photos were taken 5 minutes apart (in-person looks better than the photos)Photo 9 : Note "F6C" tank badge (Honda's European branding instead of "Valkyrie")Photo 11 : Note custom etching on lower windshieldPhoto 22 : New tires front & rear (less than 20 miles)On May-27-18 at 22:51:12 PDT, seller added the following information: Additional information:Chrome front & rear fender tipsHarley chrome handlebar risersHopnel leather tank bib with storage pouch (pre-wired for audio MP3/phone)Chrome oil filler capLast week service at RPM Cycle (Farmers Branch) $704.48Front & rear tires replaced45 degree metal valve stems installedBike inspection & condition reportOn May-28-18 at 09:37:58 PDT, seller added the following information: Vehicle Condition Report (by RPM Cycles mechanic)Please refer to photos 23 & 24Needs new brake pads front & rear (DIY mechanic : $105 parts)Front calipers stick (probably needs replacement of piston seals & dust boots, DIY mechanic : $28 parts)Rear shocks require replacement (DIY mechanic : $540 parts)Throttle cable needs a lube job ($10)Carburetors require synchronization & adjustment (bike shop, estimate 2 hours labor)Existing K&N air filter requires cleaning & re-oiling ($20)Owner's CommentsI decided to pay for a professional mechanic's inspection because I'm an honest eBay seller who wants to provide you with objective factual information so you can bid with confidence. This is a fine machine.Personal circumstances are forcing this sale.If I had the time, I would have sorted out more of the items listed on mechanic's the condition report.I could have replaced the rear shocks but decided against because you may wish to choose a stronger shock (increased preload) depending on how you use the bike (solo riding vs. two-up riding & saddlebag clearance). Buying the wrong shock could be a big waste of money.I have also provided a photo of the old & new spark plugs in light of the mechanic's comments regarding carburetor synchronization & adjustment. You will not be disappointed with this bike. I've invested around $6K in the bike and it is worth that kind of money when you factor in the ridiculous number of upgrades included with the bike. Definitely not your standard Valkyrie.Additional inclusionsNew & sealed Mobil 1 15W-50 (5 quarts, paid $23)(2) K&N KN-303C chrome oil filters (paid $24)Tool kit (Honda OEM)
