The Vehicle being offered is a 1967 Scout 800 4x4. It has a 196 CI 4-cylinder engine that was rebuilt at 36,689 miles. It was bored out to the next piston size and had new pistons, cam shaft, timing gears and all bearings installed. Last year a re manufactured Holley carb was installed. Clutch plate, pressure plate, throw-out bearing was installed less than 2000 miles ago. Gas tank on passenger side is new plastic model just installed, drivers side is sealed with Red-Kote tank sealant. Rear-end is Dana 30 with 4.27 gear ratio, all axles had end bearings replaced 10 yrs. ago and have less that 3000 miles on them. Engine starts and runs smooth, I have had the vehicle up to 80 mph on the highway. This vehicle has been driven approximately 300 miles yearly as a hunting vehicle the last 21 year, it was used on a cotton farm prior to my owning and driven sparingly. Odometer has 43,338 miles showing. For a restoration project or hunting vehicle, this would be a good project. This can be seen at Bracketville, Tx if you call to setup a meet.
