I realize this description is HUGE but please read it all, there are some really amazing things here!! This auction is for a really phenominal car, a 2005 BMW 325ci Cabriolet (E46 body-style). As many of you already know, the E46 was face-lifted in 2004. Many updates and features were added, including completely revised bumpers and lighting. These face-lifted cars were only in existence for three years and then the E46 was dropped for a new design. As such, this one really stands out. In addition to being amongst a rarer styling, this particular car has so many updates and upgrades that it is sure to be a unique, one-of-a-kind car for its new owner! Carfax I believe shows three but the original owner re-registered it twice (once after she got married to add her husband and again when she divorced). It is a very well loaded example, it looks very original and clean, the interior is all leather, it has superior handling, timely maintenance, a ridiculous amount of updated parts and accessories and plenty of rare and original OEM options.As for this car’s mechanical and operational condition, it just doesn’t get much better. Everything on this car operates flawlessly and just as it should! I even had the servicing done ONLY at Authorized BMW centers. This car handles like a dream and shifts ultra smoothly, there are no hidden surprises here, what so ever……just a great driving and perfectly reliable BMW Cabrio! In the years since this car was brand new, the car has only traveled 98,700 miles!! That averages out to just over 7,576 miles a year. The national average is 15,000 per year. So, this car has almost less then half the miles that it should. It really is absolutely fantastic. As I mentioned earlier, I have receipts for EVERYTHINGI have ever done to it. This beauty has the iconic and timeless BMW 2.5 Liter, In-Line Six Cylinder with ample amounts of torque. This silky smooth engine is mated to a very cool Steptronic Transmission. This five speed transmission defaults into ‘Automatic’ mode but you can also select ‘Sport Automatic’ or drive it as a manual, shifting though the gears yourself.Some mechanical things to note are that this beauty just got all new ceramic brakes installed. It also has a brand new Belstien suspension! This includes all struts, springs, mounting plates, sway arms and bushings! The only thing it ‘needs’ is the accessory drive (for power steering) belt pulley tightened or possibly replaced. It will make a soft squeak noise upon start up. Nothing obnoxious, you can barely hear it. Ok, lets talk exterior. This car is straight and true with no body damage. It has a few, very normal, very small chips on the front from 13 years of driving….that’s just about it! The seals are all perfect, you won’t see any leaks on this one! All lights and signals function as they should. The tires are on the newer and as such have many, many miles left on them. There is a chip (not a crack) in the windshield, which has bee professionally filled/repaired. All in all, an AMAZING looking and performing BMW.On to the Interior. What more can I say? The interior is ridiculously close to pristine! You will NOT find a single split, rip, crack, smell, or any other type of imperfection. I mentioned the Dynavin Navigation System earlier. Dynavin is an industry leader in advanced navigation systems for higher-end automobiles. They make their systems specifically designed for each make and model so that they look totally original in appearance. As such, this looks like it came with the car when new, it’s seamless! Just some examples of it’s features are: full color displays, real-time traffic navigation, multi angle navigation, Bluetooth audio, Bluetooth phone, Aux port, multi USB ports, works with the steering wheel audio controls, full color back-up camera, totally customizable displays and sound and so very much more!Here’s a very important subject, the convertible top. Are you tired of seeing ads that say ‘top does not work’ or ‘top needs help to operate’? How about looking at cars that have broken tops, tops that slam into the lid, tops that the lid drags against the roof or even worse things? Stop worrying about it, this one is FLAWLESS! I have inspected the hydraulic fluid and cylinders once every four months and it’s always perfection. The soft top itself is in like new condition, as is the headliner. I absolutely guarantee the top will work perfectly for you. I have ALLof the original Owner’s Manuals, Booklets, Records and Receipts for this car. There will be NO surprises with this one.
