1981 vanagon Westfalia camper. 4 cylinder aircooled engine. 2.0 liter. 2 inch lift kit, Bilstein shocks, custom 17 inch rims with new Hankook tires, custom Pizeo rear bumper, Euro tail lamps with Euro style flashing brake lights, Kenwood stereo with 4 Polk audio speakers. New ignition switch, recent major tune up valve adjust and oil change. New air flow meter, rebuilt distributor with new vac advance. Custom engine: new German pistons and cylinders, stainless steel valves, copper head gaskets, blueprinted high flow oil pump, oil cooler and tstat, oil temp on dash, custom camshaft with solid lifters and modified rocker arms, CB performance valve covers, new catalytic converter. All machine work done by RIMCO. The good: mechanically in great shape. Great Kenwood stereo and Polk audio speakers. Custom exhaust. Custom wheels and new Hankook tires. One of a kind rear bumper. 2 inch lift kit. Bilstein shocks. Euro tail lights. Custom engine. Designed to run on modern fuel. Current smog and registration. New Catalytic converter. New NOS airflow meter. New fuel pump. New ignition switch. New fuel pump relay. Fresh tune up, oil change, and valve adjust. Fun to drive!!! The bad. 37 years old. Surface rust on the body, rust under the left windshield no rust on the rockers or pans. No leaks when it rains. Pop up tent could be replaced. I have never used the galley but its all there.
