This has to be one of the the best CL72 (250cc) Honda's in the World even though it is 53 years old and basically untouched "So". I did my best to photograph every inch of it so please look carefully. If any body has a better one they can roll it up alone side of this one and we will see. Super Low original Miles 3959. When I sat down today to write this ad I wasn't sure where to start, everyone who knows anything about Motorcycles knows the CL72 (250cc) Honda is a very Rare Motorcycle so " lets start there ". From 1962 to 1965 Honda only Sold 10,071 of them, compared to the CL77 (305cc) Honda that they Sold 66,757 of them from 1965 to 1968 and the Honda CL72 (250cc) is almost as fast as the CL77 (305cc) Honda but the CL72 (250cc) is ten times smoother because of the smaller bore and better clutch, the production number are pictured in with the pictures in this ad.I have the original paper work for the this CL72, I have the original Bill of Sale ($790.84), Plus I have the original receipt for the Deposit ($200.00), and the original Title from " Anderson's Honda " in Pontiac Michigan who is still in business today. To have this original paper work takes a series of miracles that seldom succeeds, there is a picture of them all in with the pictures in this ad. I have the original Owners Manual, and I have the original Warranty Book, they both are pictured in this ad with the pictures.It has the original Cables, Sprockets, Chain, Grips, Levers, Seat, and you name it,'s all original. I have a clear Title in my name. In Las Vegas Nevada in the Summer time on Friday nights they have an Vintage Motorcycle get together / show down in the Art District in old town Las Vegas, so last Summer I serviced this thing out completely and licensed and insured this thing and drove it down there on several occasion, it didn't just steal the show, it was the show, it drew a crowd you would never ever, ever never believe that didn't leave in till I did. There is a picture of the title, registration, and insurance card in with the pictures in this ad. The Bike runs as good as it looks, Starts in one kick and is ready to go, I Drove it around all Summer putting about 300 miles on it, other then that Summer the bike has been inside my house for the last 5 years and I know in an environmentally controlled environment all it's life. Everything works and it runs, rides, and shifts perfectly, you'll not have to do anything or fiddle around or mess with repairs. The gas tank is clean inside and there is no liner, sealer, or monkey business . The Bike has New genuine Honda air cleaners and velocity tubes and was completely tuned up and the carb's cleaned, rebuilt with kits, and new gas lines. I'm selling for health reasons. My Parents were Honda Dealer from 1964 to 1992, I worked there from 1964 to 1976 and did all the work on the bike myself. I've only seen 4 CL72's in person in my life. I have $8200.00in this thing but have throat Cancer and need to sell my collection. I bought the bike 5 years ago (not on eBay but a person to person Deal) I tried everything to get him to come down but he would not budge, if I wanted it and I did, I had to pay. What has been done to the Bike is, the rear fender has been repainted, and both engine case's were media blasted and painted with high temp. epoxy paint that is gas and oil resistant. I have the original handle bars and they are straight I also have the Rare Muffler Can with a rare red insulator which I've only seen pictures of this is the only red insulator I've ever seen in person, their both pictured in one of the picture's. Finally every nut, bolt, and screw on the bike is either perfect or replaced new old stock Genuine Honda. There is an after market chain guard the stock ones all cracked. Every other thing on the bike is original to the Honda from 53 years ago. The bike is straight and has never been crashed.
