Fully-boxed Model A frame. Z'd 2" in rear, stretched in front shortened in rear. Body is made of a coupe front half and truck back half. Sheet metal roof. Channeled over frame to sit flush. Has a Chevy 283 V8 with double hump heads RV cam, fresh, less than 50 miles since rebuild. 600 CFM Edelbrock Performer carb with Edelbrock performer intake. All-new engine components water pump, fuel pump, belts hoses, fan, pulleys etc. New chopped radiator with trans cooler built in. Dual under car mandrel-bent exhaust. TH400 transmission shifts solid and smooth. Minor trans pan leak. Entire car (frame, body and mechanicals) waxed four times over the past four years with synthetic wax.Custom machined aluminum 20" wheels.Original dash and gauges from Model A. Fuel float gauge still operational.Newer gauges installed in diver's side footwell, including water temperature and oil pressure. Oil pressure gauge not hooked up but water temperature shows accurate.Headlight switch under dash. Tail lights are custom: rolled license plates. Car was purchased fresh from builder in California and shipped to Florida in 2014. It was garaged, dust-covered, and driven 20 miles to a couple car shows since then. Starts perfectly, battery less than one year old, smooth V8 idle but throaty sound. Amazing vehicle, not quite a rat rod, not quite a street rod. Windshield hinges are polished and function perfectly. Windshield hinges out to about 45 degrees open. 2. Brake lights are wired to a pressure switch in the brake line.3. Rear license plate is on a custom mount that fits into a 2.5" hitch receiver. Directly behind the license plate is a 2.5" square trailer hitch receiver. You can tow a small trailer with this coupe/truck! Very unique option.4. Battery, less than a year old, is mounted in a custom battery cage behind the seat. The battery is in the rear of the vehicle and easy to access. Corners like it is on rails. Suspension is rather stiff for such a light car. 2. Wheels are 6-lug with 1" aluminum spacers between rim face and hub face. The 1" spacers might be adapters from 5-lug to 6-lug. Will confirm on Wednesday evening and report back.3. Wax used was McGuiar's synthetic wax. Leaves no residue and even coats rough areas nicely. 4. Hood wings lateral line around car are brushed with a swirl pattern in the steel. Shines in the sun and contrasts against the flat black paint job.
