Vehicle Detail

1946 CADILLAC STATIONWAGON 58,000 Original Miles This is a One of a Kind, 1946 Cadillac Station Wagon (conversion done by current owner). MODEL 5DSW 5 Door built by S&S famous Coachbuilders. I am listing the car for a friend . Original V8 engine with just less than 58,000 miles, 3-speed Transmission on the tree. New wiring, glass, paint, upholstery, tires including the spare which is behind the seat, new muffler. Has dual master brake cylinder. Converted to 12 volt, electronic ignition, additional electric fan added forward of radiator. Has a Battery disconnect . Has a front and rear heater. Exterior wood-graining done in paint by current owner. Current owner has had this car for over 9 years and has worked on it off and on to bring it to its current condition. Car has always been in a heated garage has no rust. 20 foot nine inches in length. Has exterior coach lights and all original trim, including roll down brackets for shades or curtains on the side windows. Drives nicely but pops out of high gear going up hills, owner has tried to adjust the linkage and has disassembled the transmission to correct the condition but just does not have the knowledge to correct it. Hood a bent hinge and left rear of hood does not line up correctly. Car is in Kent Washington this is about 20 miles south of Seattle. You can call the correct owner Don at 253 854 0678 with any questions; if you ask a question on eBay allow time for me to contact the owner and get the answer to your question. Originally from Arizona the car spent it whole life in that State. Previous owner made a living as a clown performing at Children's Hospitals and parties and bought the car to use it to haul balloons to performances but never drove the car. After sitting for many years the car covered inside and out with many inches of dust she sold it to the current owner who moved the car to the Northwest.
