Vehicle Detail
For sale is my rare, one year only 1968 Honda CB450 restomod. Engine #3005804 It is a complete nut and bolt restoration. Basically took a stock 450 and cleaned it up a bit aesthetically. Used an NOS CB360 front fork with a custom triple tree and a CL305 headlight bucket. The motor had 7800 miles and has a complete new top end with .75 over pistons, new valves, new valve springs , new timing chain and chain tensioner. New clutch springs, plates. Carbs have been completely rebuilt. Charlie's Place electric ignition. Frame has been powdercoated. Tank, side covers, fenders and bucket painted with GM Bahama Blue which closely matches the original color but with a deeper luster. Looks fantastic with no flaws. All aluminum has been polished to a high luster, motor painted with Eastwood aluminum. Gas tank side covers rechromed and the tank is a thing of beauty. The tank alone is worth $1200. Ceramic coated headers with hard to find Italian made reproduction mufflers which are of very high quality. Wheels have new tires with shouldered rims and Buchanan stainless steel spokes. Period correct recovered seat. After market tailight and siganls. Headlight bucket has custom made aluminum bezel with set screws for mini-speedo. I spared no expense in building the bike. Every nut and bolt was cleaned, polished, etc. Easily a show bike. Everything functions as it should, has 440 miles since restoration, so you are buying a bike that has already been sorted. If you have done enough bikes you know exactly what I am talking about!!! All the work was done by professionals, there's no imperfections in the paint, powdercoating or ceramic coating. You might not find another CB450 like this again. All the modifications are bolt on so it could easily be restored to stock Selling to fund a H1 500 project. I will help with loading for a shipper but will not arrange the details. $500 deposit due within 48hrs or relist. Thanks!! Please do not hesitate to email with questions.
