1998 Porsche Boxster Guards Red exterior, black leather interior 2.5L flat 6 cylinder, 201hp, motor 101,170 miles I got this car in a trade for vintage motorcycle. I've enjoyed it so much, I bought another, so I am selling this one. Since acquiring, I have gone through this car, fully servicing it and having it gone over by Capital City European - it is in sound mechanical shape, motor runs strong, and I have enjoyed taking it on several road trips up and down California. The vehicle had the current suspension and wheels when I acquired it - it drives and tracks well, tires have plenty of rubber on them being new just before I acquired the vehicle. The convertible top is in good shape with no leaks and I recently replaced the plastic window, as well as repaired the motor mechanisms - everything functions and operates great. In addition, I have also replaced the sound system with an amplified after market system including head unit, all speakers, and amplifier. Interior is in good shape, a bit of wear on the exit bolster on the driver's seat, but not overly so. Shift knob and boot are worn, but I opened to leave as is because I liked the patina. Exterior is in good shape, has few blemishes but nothing that jumps out - a straight and clean car. In the images, it does seem that there was paint work done on the front left quarter panel, however I had not ever noticed it with the naked eye. Regardless, it should be pointed out, and that side is missing an interior wheel well shroud.I know of nothing other that this car needs right now, besides a new driver! I am happy to send the car fax to any legitimate buyers, but it appears the report that eBay provides with this listing shows the same information. This car has a salvage title, but it is unclear why. This car was originally purchased by MonsterCable as a corporate car. As I have said, the car runs and drives excellent and I've had it gone over.
