I am selling my 2002 Honda CBR1100XX Superblackbird. I purchased this motorcycle from the original owner 2 years ago and it was in all original condition. The owner was an older gentleman and had not ridden the bike very much. It had 3440 miles when I bought it and had the original tires. The bike has never been down or dropped and has always been garaged. The previous owner had installed the Heli VFR handlebar risers foe a more comfortable riding position and had replaced the exhaust with a Danmoto carbon GT kit. Last winter I replaced both tires, and battery, removed all the bodywork and had it painted by a local body shop as I always wanted one in white. I replaced the valve cover gasket not because it was leaking but because of age, replaced the spark plugs with E3 plugs, replaced the air filter, the in tank fuel filter as well as all the original fuel lines (the bike is fuel injected). I changed the oil and filter with synthetic, serviced the cooling system, flushed the brakes, and hydraulic clutch, and serviced the front fork oil. I replaced the original lighting with smoked LED lighting and installed a Zero Gravity smoked windshield. The bike looks like it just came off the showroom and is flawless. It only has 5202 miles on it and is ready to ride with nothing needed but a new owner. Unfortunately I had extensive neck surgery last year and my bike riding days are over. I hate to part with this bike since it took me two years to find one this clean with such low miles. I have all the factory lighting, the factory windshield, the owners manual, a Clymer service manual, and a brand new guardian half cover that has never been out of the bag.
