This is my personal one owner Volvo XC70 cross country wagon. I purchased it new from an authorized factory Volvo dealer in Arizona. I have taken exceptional care of it as I do my other 4 Volvos. The day I received the car I had the oil changed to Mobil One. Every oil change since has been Mobile One. That makes a difference. This vehicle can be driven anywhere without worry when it is picked up. The vehicle has been in constant service for almost 18 years. I just purchased the last of the Cross Countries that I like, a 2015, so I simply have no use for this anymore. Up until two months ago, I drove it to work every day and back. My son drives a different XC70, I drive a newer XC70 every day to work, and my family car is another XC70 (the 2015). There is no safer vehicle made period. But you know that otherwise you would not be looking at a Volvo of this age. A true oldie but goodie. Actual mileage is 137,466. Not bad for an 18 year old car. We simply kept it as a family car all these years and was never driven daily until this past year when I finally gave up my 1996 Volvo 850 with 375,000 miles on it (which is still running beautifully with the people I sold it to on EBAY). This iis SE edition, which is the upper model with polished wood trim. The engine is as strong as the day I took possession it, the transmission is as smooth as day one also. The interior is good, headliner great, power sunroof works fine, no leaks. The seats. Ah, Volvo seats. They just seem to wear, so being a 15 year veteran seller on EBAY, I disclose everything. The front seats are rough-plain and simple. Not terrible, but a little rough. You can't see the stuffing, no. They have been crack filled in as Volvo seats do crack terribly. The radio. The CD works most of the time but sometimes it ejects the cd. I think it needs a good cleaning. The powertrain. This was originally an all wheel drive vehicle. One day while my son was driving it something happened to the drive train and we simply removed the drive shaft which now makes it a front wheel only car. That was 8 years ago and the vehicle runs fine even in Wisconsin/Illinois snow. There is one small dent on the front fender. You have to look pretty hard to see it. Tires are great, wheels also. The hood. One day I was trying to compound it and left the compound on too long. Someone needs to professionally do the hood as all the paint is there, just needs strong buffing. Overall the paint on the car is very very good. The glass is all in exceptional condition. I believe one rear tire had a slow leak in it so we put on the spare, but the main tire and wheel are there. You can tell this 18 year old has been well taken care of because it will clean up very nicely inside. Simply a great transportation car for a young adult or a budget family. There is no reserve, and I know what the car will bring, and you will not find a more reliable, better condition luxury car anywhere close to this price. The vehicle is housed with my son in Naperville, IL. It can be shipped from there or driven from there. Title is clear, you can order a car fax and see there have been no accidents and no floods, and one owner. As good as you will find. Cash, wire, or paypal. I do require a $200 PayPal deposit to the winning bidder. Vehicle must be picked up/shipped within 10 days after the close of the auction. As I am sure one would understand, on an 18 year old vehicle I cannot offer a warranty other than my reputation that this is a car exactly as described and runs well. I'll start it at $500. If that is the only bid, then that is what it will go for. Highly doubtful, as these models are ALWAYS in demand due to their reliability and safety. I may consider an offer as I know I will be asked, so that's okay to do so. It just needs a good home as it has been a very good car to myself and my family. By the way, full air bag protection. Air conditioner and heater and heated seats all work perfectly. Sold as-is, where is.
