1961 Buick LeSabre4 door hard top, no center postV-8 364 cu.in. "Nailhead" motor I have one this car for the last 8 years. Being a 4 door hard top, you get the feeling of the open air like a convertible without the air beating you up and still able to hold a conversation. Cruising around town is great, but the car really shines rolling 70mph down the highway. It smoothly rolls along. I have done very little with the appearance of this car since I have owned it. It is mostly original. The color was changed from silver to yellow in the 70's. The work I have done to the car has been in updating the maintenance of the car and keeping it reliable. Changing out all the rubber hoses, belts, etc, new battery, new heater core. The car was purchased new in my hometown of Waynesboro Pa. at Mel Brown Buick by Mr. M Florence. Mr. Florence owned and garage kept it until his passing, when I bought it in 2010. This is not a show car, but a reliable, dependable, presentable daily driver that is fun.
