So, I was down at the local GM dealer this weekend and they had a brand new 2017 Silverado LS model on the floor discounted pretty heavily to sell for about $34,000. That is the base model version, still has the manual shifter to 4 wheel drive, no extras at all, the 17 inch base wheels with the not so great $140/a piece summer tires on it. Now you take my truck, slightly lower price than that base model with about $10k in extra's that came both with the truck and the stuff I added on. My truck still has 1yr 9mos on the 36K 3yr bumper to bumper on it with only 19,850miles. I work from home so the miles are much lower than the average driver.To buy my truck new with the add-ons even if they take $7K off the sticker is still going to cost you about $46,000. $46,000-33,899= $12,101.
