Hello all! You are bidding on my nice condition 1986 Toyota 4runner. This 4runner is by no means a show car but is still very presentable and gets lots of compliments. I won’t go on and on about how great these little trucks are because if you are looking I am sure you already know. The 4runner still runs and drives great with especially for the age. This particular 4runner started life as an automatic but was converted over to a 5speed somewhere around 100k miles. All the parts to complete the conversion came from a 1987 Toyota pickup including the ECU (computer). The transmission was freshened up a Marlin Crawler rebuild kit during the swap as well. This car has no rust and is an original southwest car. That being said, the paint even though as a whole still looks good, has some flaking on the roof and a little fading in some areas. Oh and a dent here and there. All body panels are original with no bodywork done. The interior is in decent shape but is showing signs of its age, such as some cracks in trim pieces and the dash. The center console was fabricated by the previous owner and is actually pretty decent. The headliner in the cab is good however the removable tops headliner has a few gouges. The front seats are not original and were pulled from a newer Toyota vehicle (stock mounting still used for seats). The rear seats are original and still in good shape but do not have seat belts. I have a set of seat belts but I do not believe they are original to this car. The 4runner has a handful of new/newer parts and tasteful upgrades that you can refer to in the lists below. This 4runner has the typical lifter tick that most 22RE engines have but as stated above still runs great with no issues. This car does not smoke nor has it been smoked in. The only issues known to me are that when parked it will drip about 2-3 drops of oil from transmission tail shaft seal and 2-3 drops from rear main. I have both the seals but have not put them in. I’m not in the market to screw or deceive anyone so please if you have questions ask away. This is an awesome little Toyota that I would love to keep but I just have too many vehicles and I need to clear up some space. Thanks for looking and happy bidding!
