This is a 1966 Oldsmobile Toronado, famous for having Jay Leno turn it into a beast. This is the first American front-wheel drive car since the Cord 810 in the 1930's. The design was virtually untampered by corporate executives, and made quite the impression at the time. This is luxury muscle car with a 385 HP rocket 425ci V-8. This is a project build for an enthusiast. The miles read, 37,091 so the engine may have been rebuilt because it works as well as the automatic transmission. The car is missing: gas tank, brakes (no break shoes), some trim pieces, exhaust (front bumper is not installed but I have it). Interior will need a lot of TLC. No glass on doors but the body is straight and complete. Minor surface rust, with possible rust in window sills, and definite rust in trunk floor panels.
