Super fun 1984 westfalia ready for more adventures. The motor has recently been replaced with a fantastic running stock 1.9L engine. In preparation for selling it we have gone through the cooling system, brake system, and electrical systems and replaced anything that needed it. All of the appliances work great, the fridge makes ice, both burners can cook dinner, and water comes out of the faucet. The lower sofa is in great shape with one little tear that has been patched, and the upper bunk looks like it’s never been used. The odometer reads 316,000 miles which sounds scary, but since most of the mechanicals have been repaired, replaced, or double checked I am not concerned. The front seats are out of a newer vanagon, just because the arm rests are a must for long road trips in my opinion. One negative is that the top has been patched. It was patched with the help and guidance of a local Southern California sail maker. It looks a little strange, but at least it’s matching on both sides and keeps the outside out, the inside in and doesn’t leak. The inside was cleaned extensively recently and the seats were steam cleaned. It is an automatic which may not be everyone’s favorite, but it shifts as it should and this way your friends and family can help out with the driving on long trips!
