1997 BMW M3, sedan (4-door), 5-speed (manual) transmission. Black/black. DS2 wheels. Bought it 5 or 6 years ago to use as a track car. Had about 184,000 miles on it then, has about 196,000 on it now. I haven't really spent much on taking care of the cosmetics, so it looks a bit dull, but can really be shined up. Mechanically speaking, it is superb. I haven't really used it much in the last two years, so that's the reason for selling it. The bad: headliner was loose and I tore it out sunroof motor was out when I bought it driver's seat has badly cracked leather passenger seat has lightly cracked leather needs new tires headlights are fogged a couple of pretty small dings on body and paint is water-spotted The good (parts I've replaced): Bilstein PSS9 racing shocks carbon fiber cold air intake engine/fuel injection remapping device switched to polyurethane bushings on suspension parts cross-drilled and slotted rotors cool carbon racing pads stainless steel brake lines blue racing brake fluid M3 suspension/body reinforcement kit M3 cross-brace removed clutch engagement delay valve radiator thermometer (now in steel housing instead of plastic) driveshaft flex disc (guibo) valve cover catalytic convertors coolant level sensor radio with XM capability - previous owner
