Since everyone is Foxbody crazy cause of the BJ auctions, I'll list this here one more time. For sale is my 1982 Mustang GT. This car is an original black on black GT......even the buck tag is still in place........ I saved it from becoming scrap mainly because of its virtually rust free body.......This car has been repowered with all the driveline components from a 1991 5.0 mustang lx. Full body electrical harness, interior and all suspension have also been swapped. Suspension has been upgraded with BBK Springs, 87 spindles and 5 lug conversion using NOS Ford front rotors. drum brake rear. The drivetrain consists of the Fuel Injected 5.0 with Mass Air. New clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing, a ford Motorsport adjustable clutch cable. 5 speed transmission, stock shifter, and the 8.8 posi rear. Also has off road H-pipe, Flowmasters and full exhaust, car has currently has manual rack and pinion but I do have the power rack from the 91 that will go with the car.. All fuel system and brake components, including the power brake, master cylinder and proportioning valve from the 91 were swapped to the 82 Body. The body is practically rust free, no collision damage or rust to the strut towers or frame rails. Fenders doors and quarter panels are straight and solid, hood is good and comes with a factory pace car hood scoop. Floors are solid, previous owner had sub-frame connectors professionally installed, aside from that there were small floor repairs. I can supply photos to interested parties. All 1982 trim is present with the exception of the rubber body side molding (which is now thankfully reproduced), all glass is good. T Tops are complete and in good condition......and please don't bother me with"do the t tops leak"......at some point new or old all t tops leak so assume that 35 year old seals will leak.....This car sits in my garage until the new owner arrives and I'm not standing outside with a garden hose in January to test out the seals. The door panes are for power doors but the car has manual window. The door panels are laid in place, your choice if you want to convert to power or obtain manual door panels. The 91 interior is mostly complete, I have the complete console, no radio. Car will need a headliner. Car does run, move and stop under its own power......I would however trailer it to your final destination as it has not had any shakedown driving. I have a bunch of pictures from the day I got it home, from during the reassembly and what you see now.......it still needs final finishing and a good shake down but you can finish it your way and have a fast, reliable, fuel injected 4 eye 82 Mustang GT that has the heart and performance of the later 5.0 LX Clean transferable title...........Can provide pictures of any areas that may concern you. You could not purchase another solid 82 GT, and pay a shop to do the fuel injection and drivetrain conversion for what I am asking. I am not thrilled about selling this car but I have redirected my focus and do not want this car to sit around. I will regret selling this car the minute the seasons change. Buyer responsible for all shipping costs..........will assist with loading.......and in closing I will say that due to the overwhelming amount of ridiculous questions, I will state that if you are not mechanically inclinded and have to pay a mechanic to check your oil or change a light bulb then this car IS NOT for you. This car will need finishing, if that is beyond your skill set then please move along, there is nothing to see here. The car will come with the steel Crown Victoria wheels, NOT the American Muscle Wheels
