I have for sale a wonderfully kept, beautiful example of Acura's flagship vehicle...a 1992 Acura Legend Coupe. Built to last, these vehicles were ahead of their time and timeless in their appeal. (When these vehicles were first released I became such a fan that I purchased a 1993 Legend Sedan as well, which I still own!!) There aren't too many left in this condition, or with this mileage. Simply do a nationwide search by whatever means you have available to understand this as fact. This is truly a rare find, and an even more unique and limited opportunity to own this car. With each passing year these vehicles are harder and harder to find in condition such as this. This Legend has spent its life in a climate controlled garage when not being driven. The interior is absolutely mint. I feel like a lot of people use this term loosely, no matter the shape or miles of the car. In this instance however, I feel I do the word justice when I apply it to the condition of the interior of this particular vehicle. It still smells like a new vehicle. The ivory colored leather is in amazing condition. There are no stains, rips, cracks, or odors of any kind. Everything works as it should. No fading or wear of any buttons, handles, or armrest. No leaks from the sunroof. All rubber trim is soft and there is no cracking of any kind. The leather seats are as soft as when they were new. A spare-from-the-dealer matching leather roll was ordered decades ago in the event any rips or cracking occurred in the seats. The small roll I have I am including in the sale of the car should a side bolster ever need replacing. All glass and paint are original to the car, and in fabulous shape. When this car was brand new, the mudguards were removed and painted to match the car by the dealer. Floor mats were never exposed to a shoe or boot, and were uncovered simply for the purpose of pictures. When in use, a rubber mat laid over them. The doors have the soft close mechanism, and both driver and passenger work perfectly. The power antenna also works. Air conditioning is ice cold, heat is hot. Power everything. Keyless entry (needs a fuse I'm told, but I just use the key) The engine bay is clean, and there are no leaks, no noises, and no issues. There are no issues with the engine or transmission. This Legend runs smooth and drives straight and true down the road. The hoses, belts, and all components are in like-new condition. The timing belt was changed a few years ago, approximately under 10k miles. The oil and other fluids are clean and have been changed. There is a new set of Bridgestone tires on it. The only mod if you want to call it a "mod" is an aftermarket air filter. If you don't like it, simply put in a dealer filter. I most recently drove this vehicle on a pleasurable 200 mile worry free round trip. This being said, you can literally drive this Legend on a 2000 mile round trip worry free should you choose. The exterior of the car has the beautiful, and often desired, original bright Red paint. I've seen cars less than 5 years old that don't have paint in this nice of condition. Its hard to believe this vehicle is 26 years old. It actually qualifies for being considered a classic, and in my eyes, its long been a classic years before it qualified. Keep in mind, as stated before, this car is 26 years old and does have minor imperfections and rock chips, but overall it is in great shape. This Legend has never been wrecked, never been abused. I am reluctantly selling, as circumstance and time merit that attention is paid to other projects and commitments. This doesn't mean I "have" to sell, just would "like" to sell to enable someone else the enjoyment and appreciation ownership of this vehicle affords while also thinning out my personal vehicle inventory. Basically I am in no rush, and will wait for the right buyer to come along. However, opportunities such as this are hard to come by, so if you have wanted to own a Legend or wanted to own a coupe, this may be your last chance to find one such as this. As for the scammers out there...please..I have heard it all before. As for the low ballers, the "book value says this" people, or the "my buddy bought one similar to yours for 5 grand!!" people, save yourselves the keystrokes and me the energy of hitting the delete button and save it for another car. It should go without saying that the rarity, the supply and demand, and the condition and care impacts pricing. For the serious bidders and the truly interested people feel free to come and inspect or have your mechanic inspect. This is a vehicle that will easily last another 26 years.
