2012 BMW F800GS Odometer: 25,176 miles Place of Purchase: BMW Motorrad of Orlando No. of owners: 1 Base Price = $8,800 Add on parts = $2,500 (New = $5,600) Buy it now price = $11,400 Location: South Florida 33442. This is a solid bike and I hate to sell it. I’m selling my bike because life has changed, and I just don’t have time to ride it any more. I am the proud owner of a small business and this business just consumes my time. I rode this beauty maybe 6 times in 2017. That’s heartbreaking right? She deserves to be on the open road. But…I’d rather have the cash and the room in the garage because I'm likely not going to ride much in 2018 also. I purchased my 800GS when it was new in Nov 2011. It was my daily driver for about two years while I worked overseas. I never was able to take that "Long Way Around" road trip I always planned. She hasn't seen too much dirt. I worked overseas for extended periods of time. While I was overseas, she was kept in storage or a garage. 95% of the miles on the odometer are pavement miles. I added LOTS of extras to this bike. In total, I added roughly $5,500 worth of guards, armor, upgrades, etc. See full list below. She's prepped for any adventure. The bike runs great. There isn’t anything mechanically wrong with it to my knowledge. I gave her regular oil changes, services, and kept Stabilizer in the tank when I would deploy overseas. I can recall maybe 1 or 2 parking lot lay downs. No significant damage. The panniers absorbed most of the scratches. This bike has been laid down a few other times off road too. Mostly just grass, gravel, and Georgia Red Clay. Those lay downs were also insignificant. I was riding maybe 1-2 mph per lay down. It’s an adventure bike...they’re not supposed to be shiny and perfect. There are minor scratches and wear marks throughout the bike. The BMW logo fell off the left side. I bought a new BMW logo from Amazon a few months ago but it was the wrong size. I think it was from China because I paid $8 for it. I decided it wasn’t too important. I replaced the battery in August 2017. The bike is currently on a trickle charger in my garage now. I’ve taken quite a few trips with this bike. It always attracts lots of attention. I always catch people taking pictures of it. I decided not to sell the TouraTech Aluminum Panniers. I included them in the pictures just to show that the mounts are square and securely hold panniers. The pannier frame / mount comes with the bike. I have the original rear view mirrors. I’ll throw them in for free if you want them. The Highway Dirt Bike (HDB) brush guards have just enough mirror to keep it street legal. The HDB mirrors can fold behind the guard when you’re on the trails. The bike comes standard with heated grips and ABS. You’ll see a Garmin GPS in the pictures. That’s not for sale. Well…it might be. I have too many maps and tracks on there I don’t want to lose. I’ll most likely remove the GPS and the GPS mount before I sell the bike. But, if you really want me to keep it on the bike we can talk adding some money to the final sale price. The Camel Adv external fuel tank is awesome! It adds an extra 7 liters of fuel. There’s no pump or anything. When you fill up, just fill up both tanks and the external tank suction feeds into the main tank as you ride. It doubles the gas mileage. I’ve put tons of add-ons onto this bike. While I was preparing to ride the Trans America Trail I got hurt overseas and can’t ride like I want to any more. I have lots of ADV gear that I’ll be looking to sell too. Let me know if you’re looking for something in particular Tires = Continental TKC 80. Approximately 90% tread remaining Brush Guard = Wild@Heart. Front Brake Reservoir Guard = TouraTech.
