For sale I have a very nice, rare and original North American '83 Volkswagen GTI. The previous owner tells me he bought the car in Alberta in the early nineties and moved the vehicle to BC. Prior registering it in BC the previous owner tells me after 94 thousand original miles a transmission problem developed and a rebuild began which was never completed. Over twenty years later it falls into my hands, however work commitments and other projects claimed my time. The Good:-Gorgeous, original rainbow pattern interior-Little to no structural rust-Two sets of wheels and tires, inlcuding a set of ORIGINAL PIRELLIs on GTI alloys-Comes with original parts dissasembled during first restoration attempt The Bad:-Paint in less than ideal condition, with small rust spots begining to form-Engine and Transmission in need of reassembly/repair-Dent on passenger side fender from small accident, the frame is still straight as far as I can see.
