Vehicle Detail

Alfa Romeo 1967 Guilia Sprint Veloce 'Stepnose' for restoration. Vehicle needs these panels: (buy only top quality panels to insure fit, I would recommend Alfaholics in the UK.) Inner, middle and outer sills (rockers) on both sides.(This is a skilled job that requires bracing the car structure before removal of panels...NOT a DIY affair, these cars are worth $45k when finished, if you screw up by 1/8th" you will not be able to close the doors.) Front valance lower section, rear arch repair panels, fender lower repair panels. ( these will be needed because the rocker repairs will necessitate removing sections to uncover the inner sills. Front floor pans. The rest of the underneath looks rust-free and in great shape. The inside of the trunk looks good with original rubber mat and tool kit.Glass seems fine, some light scratches on rear screen.Paint is peeling around the rear, possibly from old repair areas, although no visible signs of damage. Engine is stripped and partly polished (by previous owner). All the parts seem present to rebuild including:New piston and liner kitsGasket and seals.Crank has light scratches, the previous owner said it had been ground once and can go another two times. The history section!I bought this car from an old engineer / professional inventor guy in Colorado Springs, he literally had built an airplane from scratch. He was the second owner and had the car since the 1970's. He had rebuilt the engine several times before and has given me the workshop manual, special tools etc. The last time he stripped it, he spent lots of time polishing the head and decided he was too old to tackle the bodywork, so decided to sell it. ( very reluctantly, referred to it as an old friend )The rust occurred in the short period that he had to temporarily move and work in Michigan. So here's the deal:I will sell to overseas buyer, but they must do all of the arrangements. You are welcome to come and inspect the car, do not bid unless you are ready to buy unseen, or have inspected it.You MUST WATCH THE VIDEO before asking questions about the work needed to the bodywork. I have made a youtube video showing the body work areas with some details: https://youtu.be/ZF3cj4jJGfI Thanks very much, hope we can do business!
