This SUV was purchased 11/09/2017 from a dealer in Philadelphia, PA. After picking it up I drove the 75 or so miles home and found that it as advertised and ran well but seemed that there was a problem with the engine idle when I pulled it into my drive, so I took it to the local Ford dealership and had them inspect the truck and to make sure that there were no problems before I took it to the Delaware Inspection lanes to have the title transferred into our names. What I found that was that the battery was weak and needed replacement and there was an open ground in the dash. I had the dealership fix the ground (it was just a wire that was not connected but it took them sometime to find it) and I purchased a new heavy-duty battery, spent around another $1,000.00, but it was worth it since I was planning to keep the truck for a while and wanted it to be reliable. I was told by the Ford dealer that I should drive it for a week or two so that the computers would reset, after having the ground repaired and to make sure that there were no other problems. When I did take it to the Delaware inspection lanes I was told that they would not title the truck it in Delaware because it was a reconstructed title. What a shock, I had no idea that something like that was even possible since it was titled in Pennsylvania. Now what I do. the only thing was to it on eBay and try to recover some of my money and look for another truck. before you bid please make sure that you can title in you state. Also this auction does not have a reserve since there is nothing elae that I can do with it. I have attached the appropriate parts of the original eBay listing because they can describe it better that I can. The title is guaranteed to be free and clear. There will be no liens or encumbrances on the title Any questions please let me know. 2011 Ford Expedition EL 4WD This is a gorgeous looking 2011 Ford Extended Expedition EL. In addition to all the standard power equipment, this truck is also equipped with lots of features including the navigation system, power sunroof, power adjustable pedals, and power folding third row seats. NOTE: In August 2013 with 50,064 miles, an insurance company paid a full claim on this vehicle. As a result of a mandatory federal law, a salvage title is issued to the insurance company that takes possession. I don't know the details of the claim, but we performed an extensive inspection before this was traded in and found that only the rear hatch and bumper cover had been repainted. We found no other damage or repair on this Truck. No evidence of accident damage, no water damage, no body, frame or structural repairs, and it has a properly functional odometer and instrument cluster. After completing all appropriate paperwork, the new owner applied for a new registration. A special inspection for proper road-worthiness was completed by the state and a reconstructed title was issued. This means that the title has been restored so that anyone in any state can legally register and drive this Truck in any state just like any other vehicle. It has been is use for the past three years and 53,000+ miles without any residual issues. This Expedition runs beautifully. I drove this Truck 60+ miles over a weekend, and it drives beautifully. The 5.4L engine runs very strong and smoothly and the transmission shifts properly. The matching set of 20" Pirelli tires are showing lots of tread and the brake pads are in great condition. The oil & filter and air filter were just changed. The suspension and steering feel nice and tight, and this Truck is a pleasure to drive. All of the power equipment has been checked and is working properly, and the air conditioning is cold. There aren’t any service indicators or warnings lights on. The Tuxedo Black finish on this Expedition is super glossy and clean over the entire body. Other than a few stone nicks or imperfections, the body is straight, clean and in terrific condition. There aren’t any dents or scratches on this truck, and there isn’t anybody rust at all. The undercarriage is very clean and in excellent condition as well. The interior is crisp, fresh and has been very well maintained. The leather seats are soft, supple without any holes or damage. The carpeting throughout is fluffy and very clean. All of the interior trim is in excellent condition as well. I would expect this Truck to provide excellent service for many years to come, and wouldn't hesitate to drive this Expedition anywhere in the country.
