THIS IS A VERY NICE 2-OWNER 2012 VOLVO S60 T5 SEDAN. THIS S60 HAS 116K HIGHWAY MILES AND WAS MAINTAINED BY THE CAR OWNER’S FATHER, WHO OWNS A SPECIALTY AUTO REPAIR SHOP AND WAS THE FORMER GM OF A VOLVO DEALER. THIS CAR WAS BABIED WITH MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS FOR ITS ENTIRE LIFE ALL DONE AT THE SAME SHOP AND VOLVO DEALER, SO EVERYTHING WAS DONE ON TIME AND DONE RIGHT. NOTHING NEEDED EXCEPT A NEW OWNER, IT’S PRICED RIGHT, A GREAT COLOR COMBINATION OF CASPIAN BLUE METALLIC OVER ATACAMA LEATHER, WONDERFUL CONDITION INSIDE AND OUTSIDE, AND IS READY TO GO. Please read on to find out more. -- Here she is in all her glory -- Please let me stop you now if you are looking for an inexpensive, needy, or average S60 like most of them for sale. This is not that car. I am hired by clients to buy over fifty Euro cars each year, and I can tell you there is ONE thing I look for: a car with an excellent documented service/maintenance history. This is that car. On top of that, this S60 has had only two owners since new, and has all original body panels. It looks GREAT inside and out. Please understand, with these cars, you get what you pay for. This S60 is better than every other S60 out there for its combination of price, cosmetics, and mechanicals. Here's the deal: -- This is a 2012 Volvo S60 T5 sedan in Caspian blue metallic over Atacama and black two-tone leather interior, with matching black carpets and headliner. It has stainless steel interior trim. It is a two owner car, dealer serviced since new, has only 116,xxx miles, and looks like a million bucks. This car was LOVED, and it shows. -- -- Exterior 9 out of 10 - Great overall condition paint, body, glass, and trim. No dings. No dents. This S60 looks amazing, with a deep shine to the blue paint that's like looking into an endless mirror. This car has been paint metered and every body panel is original and wears its original paint. This car looks great even under fluorescent light in a garage. Imagine getting a 116K mile car with no swirl marks or spiderwebs in the paint….amazing! -- -- The lower side-body moldings are in great shape. The chrome, rubber, glass, and trim are all excellent and original. No oxidation, fade, wear, rust, etc. as you’d expect on a 116K mile car. Look at the body panels.....they are laser straight. -- -- This S60 T5 is nicely optioned, with an original MSRP of more than $40K! Options include power everything, moonroof, memory seats, satellite radio, heated front seats, dual HVAC controls, and more. Wow! -- -- It currently wears its OEM alloy wheels, all true and in excellent condition with some minor curb marks. The tires have are about worn out, so at the BIN I will replace them with matching Continental ExtremeContact tires that have roughly 70% tread remaining. It goes arrow-straight down the road at high speed with no shimmy, pull, or anything else. Brakes are over 50% remaining all around. -- -- Interior 9.5 out of 10 - The interior overall including all seating and door leather, seat padding, dash, console, wood, and carpets are in great original condition. No dash cracks, carpet rips, etc. Everything looks and feels great. This is not the typical worn S60 - this car was garaged every day of its life and it shows. No refinishing either, this is the ORIGINAL UNTOUCHED interior, without even any type of detailing, just a wash and a vacuum. -- -- The door panels and trim are also in great shape, like the rest of the car. -- -- Even the trunk and spare are mint. -- -- Now to the recent inspection results and service. Check out these service records! Everything done, and done right. Over $5000 spent on routine maintenance and repairs since October 2014. Now there is nothing for the next owner to do except drive. Awesome! – -- Electrical 10 out of 10 - All lights, switches, radio, windows, wipers, seat motors/memory, and power mirrors work perfectly. Power lock system, remote key, interior lights all operating as they should. -- -- The service history is great, extensive and documented. Fuel pressure sensor, PCV valve, A/C compressor, filters, fluids, and more. That’s THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS of work that YOU don’t have to do! HVAC system is fast to respond, and operates perfectly. Seat heaters both working properly. -- -- Mechanical 10 out of 10 - Engine starts, idles, runs, and revs to redline in every gear smooth and strong. Transmission is smooth; no abrupt engagement, just silky smooth shifts. She runs at high speed with no vibrations or noises. There are no leaks....NONE. -- -- This S60 has passed two separate inspections with flying colors. A pre-purchase overall inspection with paint meter and test drive, and a full mechanical inspection and state inspection as well. After the final and thorough inspection for any problems, after all the work listed above was done, she’s ready to roll. -- -- Engine is strong and eager to run, transmission smooth and ready to drop down a gear at your command to rocket you past slower traffic. Brakes are solid and pedal feel is firm. Suspension is tight like new, no worn tie rod ends, ball joints, struts, or anything else. Steering nicely weighted with no play in the box. ZERO leaks or noises. This car drives and handles like new. Look at the condition of the engine bay! – -- This S60 T5 comes with books, remote key, floor mats, carfax, and ALL the service records! No expense spared maintenance and repairs. -- -- This S60 does not have any signs of wear, no rubber rot, no leaks, no lukewarm A/C....NOTHING. Everything is in fantastic shape, and at only 116K miles, it's not even broken in yet! With these cars, it’s always best to buy the nicest one you can afford, because in the long run a better condition higher maintained car will ALWAYS be less expensive to own. -- -- At the BIN price I will include the following: the Continental tires mentioned above, alignment, floor mats, a full $200 detailing including engine bay, carpet shampoo, leather conditioning, orbital polishing, etc. I'll also supply Toughguard protectant for the paint, which you have to see to believe. It will bead water, seal, and UV protect the paint for FIVE YEARS, GUARANTEED....no future waxings necessary. I know it sounds like a B.S. late-night TV claim, but it's not; dealers charge $695 and up for this stuff, and it really works. I will also include touch-up paint. That’s close to $1500 in value! -- -- Nits: A few marks to the wheels, a few touched-up scratches, and other normal signs of use on the road for the age/mileage. THAT’S IT! I know it sounds ridiculous to have a mechanically and cosmetically near-flawless car with 116K miles on it, but there it is. The remaining balance is due within five days of making the deposit. You must scan/email or fax us your state issued driver’s license after you make the deposit. We also require proof of insurance prior to delivering any vehicle. As final payment for the vehicle, we will accept a bank/cashier’s check, bank loan check, wire transfer, or cash. We will not release the vehicle and/or title until funds clear back to the issuing bank. If you pay cash, you can pick up the vehicle immediately. If you pay by wire transfer the vehicle will be available for pickup as soon as the wired funds are available in our account. If you pay by bank/cashier’s check, you will have to wait for the title until the funds clear back to the issuing bank unless alternative arrangements are made. If payment is made using a check we will hold all vehicles and titles until the funds clear back to the issuing bank. Bidder’s Age: You must be 18 years of age or older to bid. Storage Terms: Once a vehicle has been paid for in full, we will store it free of charge for five (5) calendar days and at nineteen ($19) dollars per day after that. Liquidated Damages: In the event that the winning bidder refuses to honor his/her obligation to purchase the vehicle, we shall be entitled to liquidated damages from that bidder in the amount of two thousand dollars plus two hundred dollars per one thousand dollars of the total purchase price of the vehicle.
