1984 Honda 200x ATC200 3 wheeler. You just don’t see these for sale often and when you do they are rusted out or the motor is seized. There a still guys around here that have been riding long enough to know the ATC’s. The 200x was Honda’s four stroke race machine. Back in the mid 80’s, the 200x ruled the 4 stroke race circuit as many engine builders were able to pump lots of horsepower from these little motors. The 200x was the Honda 4 stroke racer ever built contrary to popular opinion that the 350x was a larger 4 stroke racer. The 350x is nothing more than a trail 3 wheeler. A kick start, four stroke with a manual hand clutch. This was before there were any high performance four wheelers on the market. To this day the 200x remains one of the most popular models both by numbers and by memories. I have owned this 3 wheeler since 1992 and it has never been bored out or had a frozen engine. It was sitting around for about 15 years and I thought I was going to have to redo all the electrical, but to my surprise it was all good and now I have a complete spare electrical system from the stator to the coil. The carb was dirty so I tore it apart and cleaned it. I figured since I had the motor out I would put new rings on it and the piston was firm and not sloppy at when I changed the rings out. It has a brand new complete gasket set that will come with it too, along with valve seals and extra head gaskets. I also have a spare piston and rings that is .010 over and didn’t fit because it would have to be bored over to use. I put a new spark plug and painted the entire motorcycle and motor. It has 3 brand new tires on it that still have the little rubber spikes on them. The motor still needs to be broken in to let the rings seat properly. It will start 1st kick for me and sounds good. The muffler needs a tighter clamp or something so the exhaust doesn’t seap out a little bit I have had a radiator clamp on there and seems to work ok. I replaced all the lights and they are all working but the headlight to become stock would need the plastic piece. I have seen them here on eBay for 49.99. It has all new plastics and a new seat, it has a current California green sticker and I have the pink slip in hand. I bought this from the original owner in 1992 and he was a friend of mine so I know the history and it’s clean. I also rebuilt the rear master brake cylinder and bled the rear brakes. It has a new filter too. Please feel free to ask any questions..
